the lab

social venture labs offers a focus group workshop model to small business owners who are looking to improve their marketing, web site and project management. Additional focus is offered on the “virtuous cycle” of social entrepreneurism: bottom line contribution in their community.  Participants will work directly with the social venture labs creator, Christine Haskell, as well as learn from peers.

I work with small business owners, helping them make progress on projects that they’ve been meaning to get to while they wrestle with the day to day running of the business. I facilitate group discussions on topics that are relevant to the small business: their message, their online presence and their connection to the community – both real and virtual.

The “labs” are built on two simple but powerful concepts: the importance of customer-centric business design, and the value of asking for help from one’s peers. Diversity of experience brings valuable feedback and opportunities to partner.   is unorthodox and the results are dramatic. Clients who work with me consistently report their highest income levels to date.

My background, managing complex projects for .com companies, translates into succinct business insights and creative thinking for thoughtful partnerships to extend and expand the relationship with you customer.

If you have a project you want to make progress on or an idea for one you want to start—drop me a line! I’m not the standard drone- consultant, complete with French Blue shirt and Blackberry pager. I use my experience working in and observing cultures in small to large companies, a long history of volunteering and board membership with non profits and passion for triple bottom line thinking. My promise is that lab participants make progress on the projects they start and are better able to measure their results.
